On July 21st, 2011, Puget Ventures held a Special Shareholder Meeting and announced that shareholders had voted in favour of proposed transactions that, if completed, will result in a newly named international mineral exploration company with the new name Global Cobalt Corporation.
Shareholders also voted and approved a new Board of Directors, who will oversee the Company's direction in advancing the portfolio of quality assets ensuring corporate growth and valuation. This highly qualified team holds the exploration, development and production expertise to enable timely, skilled advancement of the impressive asset portfolio held by the Company.
The Management, Directors and Advisors bring together collective experience from such companies as Goldcorp, Cameco, Centerra Gold, Rio Tinto, Detour Lake Gold, Cominco, BHP Olympic Dam, Kazakhmys, West Timmins, Alcan and Normandy, amongst many other.
