PUGET VENTURES INC. ANNOUNCES TWO APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF ADVISORS

(Vancouver, BC) June 9, 2008 PUGET VENTURES INC. (TSXV:PVS) is pleased to announce the appointment of two members to its Board of Advisors, Mr. James Dawson, P.Eng and Mr. Darin Wagner, P.Geo.

Mr. Dawson (M.Sc., P.Eng), is currently the President ofDawson Geological Consultants Ltd., and sits on the Board of Directors of both Minefinders Inc. and Kivalliq Energy Corporation. Over the past 36 years, he has examined, explored and evaluated a number of properties in Canada, the US and internationally, and participated in the discovery of a number of precious and base metals deposits, including the Blackdome Mine, the Frasergold and Taurus properties in British Columbia, and the Bighorn Mine in Arizona.

Mr. Wagner (M.Sc., P. Geo) brings over 20 years of exploration and development experience having spent several years with Cominco Ltd. as a member of its Project Development team where he was responsible for managing exploration and discovery activities throughout North and South America. He worked on the Duck Pond discovery in Newfoundland, which recently entered production. Mr. Wagner is currently President and CEO of a Vancouver-based public mineral exploration and development company.

Puget has recently completed the option of Trout Bay, a property owned by Red Lake Mines/Goldcorp Inc. in the Red Lake camp in North Western Ontario, with exploration expected to commence in Summer of 2008.
