Puget has tactically concentrated on the historically proven mining jurisdiction of Ontario, Canada and is aggressively expanding and exploring existing properties. The Company's strategy has been to acquire advanced stage strategic metal properties that are either past producers, have been the subject of prior work programs and/or contain historic resources. Puget Ventures has strategically positioned itself in the forefront of the mining industry to supply the growing demand for strategic metals.
Puget has also recently announced that it is working with a privately held Russian-based company, IMHL, to further increase its primary cobalt assets with the acquisition of an Advanced Exploration Project in Russia
Puget Ventures' existing Werner Lake Belt properties will continue to be held and developed and will represent the Canadian cobalt operations division. In addition, three Mongolian licences, with gold, silver and copper-molybdenum mineralisation will be part of this transaction along with three other projects in the close vicinity to the Russian property.
